Crown Part 1 is my first live EP (recorded on 26 April 2025), marking the first steps in my journey to share my creative work.

The project was born in 2023, sparked by a word from God about creating a “crown” of music and art,  a reflection of my creative journey, which, when completed, is to be” placed on the head of Jesus” – to crown him with my life and art.

“Light” is an intro to my EP, hoping to reflect a wrestling of my creative journey of stepping out into the light. “Reality” and “New Creation” focus on clarity, identity, and renewal,  songs centred around the verse 2 Corinthians 5:17. “Trust” explores what it looks like to hold on during difficult seasons, as someone who struggles with depression every day.  And the final track, “Crown”, ties the whole project together with themes of surrender and joining in with the worship of Jesus that is happening right now with or without us.

Recorded live at my university (Futureworks Manchester) – the place where I’ve grown the most as an artist – the EP brings together a full band, original visuals, and an audience of friends and supporters. It was later mixed by Nathan Flynn and refined to capture the energy of that night, while keeping its live and heartfelt spirit intact.

This is my first significant body of work, shaped by the people around me and the lessons I’ve learned in the process of creating it.
